nice numbers.. paul you know the reason for your power difference still comes down to old saying theres no replacement for displacement

Lol...I know. Its much easier to make power in a V8 IMHO opinion. If I can slap on a supercharger to the shortblock that I bought from Keith Craft racing with a good set of heads and make decent power, any body can. I'm no expert by any means.

That is exactly what he is saying. Front wheel drive with that much horsepower is basically useless from a dig. Thus 1/4 mile drag racing is out and 40 roll or Highway racing that car is probably pretty nasty.

yeah I'm not much for street racing if i do its from a stop or atleast a low speed. any more and despise roll racing.

Different strokes for different folks. We can agree to disagree.
We all know it won't hook, but I'm not tracking it until Im ready to break something. I like rolls bc it's less strain on the drivetrain and obviously better for me since I roast tires.

Thanks for the kind words guys, i'll see ya on the streets

Building a big hp FWD car to me is like building a top fuel drag boat with a trolling motor prop.

If I race on the street it will be from a roll
I'll race from a dig at the track

that's how it will be done for me Wink

this is kind of getting alittle silly. I guess there are some inside jokes that I don't know about. But anyway I'm a new guy so i'm not in on any of this. however Why build a car like this? Don't it kind of sound like the opitomy of a ricer even though you drive a euro. You build a car thats a dyno queen just so you can jump on here and say you have a shit ton of power. Congrats on that but what fun is it to drive a car like that? that can in no way shape form or fashion hook and is always breaking drive train parts?

Volksfagens don't have drivetrain parts silly! And I think he did it because the VR6 engine platform is so fun to work on! The hydraulic cam gears make it so much fun to set the timing! Its almost like having and inline-6 and a V-6 at the same time so you can get double the horsepower! Like 12 cylinders, DUH!
